(I must remind that the past few blogs, the contents therein and others forthcoming, are taken from the book "Unlocking the Mysteries of Birth and Death." written by Daisaku Ideda, President of Soka Gakkai International, a Society of lay people who practice Nichiren Buddhism, members of which are in over 180 countries around the world. )
Happy new week, y'all, hope it was a good one for you and your families. I and my wife had Xmas dinner etc., with my 2 bachelor sons, ummmm, no kids, boo hoo. Not quite the same with out children of one age or another, Of course for us it would have to be grand kids. Oh well, next life.
I have to add on another completion from my last blog on Cause of Illness. You will remember I referred to the syllable MYO which comes out of Nichiren Buddhism's chant of the title of the Lotus Sutra, which is Nam Myo ho Renge Kyo. So today we will expand on the further meaning of MYO, and then be able to terminate on Cause of Illness with a complete picture of it's power.
First: THREE PROPERTIES OF 'MYO'.
* Renewal, a self-motivated capacity for creativity, demonstrated in how the human body constantly responds in new ways and rallies its creative resources.
* Perfection, in the sense of wholeness and unity; completion. The dynamic equilibrium of the human body as a whole -- its homeostasis -- is perfectly balanced and an expression to the mystic force.
* Openness, or the individual's ability to influence his or her environment. Every living thing reacts to and is capable of provoking a reaction in its external environment.
To sum up, then, these three characteristics of the Mystic Law are: to activate our inherent life force; to harmonize our spiritual and physical functions; and to equip us with the resources to influence our environment for the better while responding to its myriad changes with wisdom and maintaining a balance between it and ourselves. When we base our lives on this Law --- by practicing Buddhism as Nichiren teaches -- we can tap the limitless power inside ourselves so that disease is no longer for despair. IN fact, the opposite is true: empowered by tne Mystic Law we can transform disease into a source of growth, joy and true fulfullment.
NOW, LOOKING AHEAD:::
No one can deny modern medicine's contributions to the curing of disease. It would be foolish to ignore it. Otherwise, faith descends into fanaticism.
Yet, for all its impressive technology, effective pharmaceuticals and elaborate diagnostic techniques, modern science is not imnipotent. Moreover, its treatments often tend toward a materialistic or mechanistic view of the human organism, neglecting to look at life as a phenomenon involving both body and mind. Whereas modern medicine largely relies on drugs and technology, buddhist medicine concentrates on the patient's role in curing his or her illness. We might say that medical science fights illness with scientific knowledge, while Buddhism develops human wisdom so that we may find our own rhythm and strengthen our own life force. This assists the efficacy of medical treatment and also helps to conquer illness through our own natural healing powers.
We must use medical resources wisely in fighting illness. Buddhsim gives us the wisdom to use medicine properly. Wisdom is the basic ingredient in health, to long life and to happiness.
In general, we can say that Buddhist medicine focuses on three aspects: 1) developing the conditions of Buddhahood. 2) Achieving and maintaining harmony of the four elements within our bodies as well as with our external environment, and 3) achieving and maintaining harmony among the five components.
Buddism regards disease as an external manifestation of internal disharmony. Further, Buddhist medicine maintains that the quality of human life or health is determined by the balance of an indescribably vast number of factors, each in a constant state of flux. Establishing equilibrium among these factors is little short of miraculous; so it is hardly surprising that the balance is disturbed periodically, resulting in illness. The strength of Buddhist medicing is that it focuses on activating the unlimited potentials and energies inherent in the individual human life to restore and sustain this robust, dynamic equilibrium.
When we access our fundamental life force, no illness can prevent us from living a fulfilling life. Fini.
That my friends takes care of the subject of illness according the Nichiren Buddhism Religious Philosophy. Don't forget folks, I welcome anyone else's views on religion, their's or mine. Diverse opinions welcome.OK? So see y'all soon again, thanks for stopping in for a visit. Cheers CJ

RELIGION or POLITICS ???...Illnesses of the MIND
(I must remind that the past few blogs, the contents therein and others forthcoming, are taken from the book "Unlocking the Mysteries of Birth and Death." written by Daisaku Ideda, President of Soka Gakkai International, a Society of lay people who practice Nichiren Buddhism, members of which are in over 180 countries around the world.)
Hi Ho y'all, twas the day and night before, what Christians and fundamentalist call Christmas, and so to those, Merry Christmas. And to the rest of us, relax and enjoy the, for the most part, happy atmosphere of the celebrants around us.
Now, to get on with it, I completed the last of the series on Causes of Illnesses, with Karmic diseases. But for today I wish to extend a sort of clean up to the whole series with "Three functions of the Mystic Law. The Mystic Law is represented by the phrase Nichiren Buddhists chant, Nam Myoho Renge Kyo, (the title of the Lotus Sutras) and parts will be referred to in this blog, which has to do with health and disease.
According to the Lotus Sutra, even a Buddha who embodies the ideal state of life will never be completely free of ailments. What ultimately matters is our ability to mobilize the innate healing power of our lives.
The cultivation of this healing power depends on our individual will. The role of will in curing a person's illness is becoming ever more apparent. For example, if we are shocked and weakened when we discover we have a serious disease, we are much more likely to succumb to it than if we refuse to accept the news as a death sentence and elect to fight the disease. Our will power affects our body's ability to produce natural "medicines" --- hormones, enzymes and antibodies -- which it marshals to combat negative influences an preserve life.
Willpower thus has a major part to play in helping us take full advantage of our native healing abilities. Willpower in this sense refers to how deeply we can grasp, how strongly we can tap into, the true aspect of our lives, which, according to Buddhism, comprises infinite potential and cosmic scale. This type of will-power derives from absolute confidence in the vastness of our existence, and a strong sense of purpose and responsibility to this world.
The strength of Buddhist medicine lies in the development of the Buddha nature from within, which provides the key to activating the unlimite potentials and energies inherent in the individual human life.
Myo, a syllable of Myoho (as in Nam-Myoho Renge Kyo) means "mystic" or "beyond comprehension", and it describes a continually creative force that pulses in every healthy entity, sustaining its activity. This force has three general characteristics: renewal, perfection and openness.
As Nichiren implied by writing "Myo means to revive, that is, to return to life," the Mystic Law ---Nam-Myo-Renge-Kyo -- enables us to unleash new life force from within. In a broader sense, this indicates that we have the power to transform ourselves from sickly persons into healthy and happy ones.
Nichiren also wrote: "Myo means to be fully endowed, which in turn has the meaning of 'perfect and full'... To illustrate, one drop of the great ocean contains within it the waters of all the various rivers that flow into the ocean, and a single wish--granting jewel, though no bigger than a mustard seed, is capable of showering down the treasures that one could wish for with all the wish-granting jewsls." Each of our individual lives is fully endowed with all of the potential that exists in the cosmos. When the Mystic Law is brought into play, it orchestrates our spiritual and physical functions in superb harmony, vitalizing our vast innate potential. As as result, the greatest healing influence -- our own unhampered life force -- rises to the occasion and enables us to overcome even the most virulent disease.
In the context of health, this passage, explains that the Mystic Law enables us to reveal "the depths of the secret storehouse," which is the Buddha nature, and "open" our existence to the environment. In other words, we can establish a foundation from which we can always actively and positively engage with our environment, transmuting all of its influences into beneficial ones.
So much for today, friends. No matter your relgious bent, this can still give you food for thought. You must learn to rccognize your own spiritual power and this in keeping with the Nichiren Buddhis tenet, of taking full responsibility for yourself. You'd be surprise on how this affects your true happiness being who you are. So until monday, when I will have a great presentation of our great Constitution, take care.
Cheers CJ

Aha, once again we meet on hump day, with everyone holding in their excitement for the holidays ahead.
Above all else, Unshakeable Happiness would be the greatest gift one could give themselves. If you don't already have that, then stay with me as I reveal some more of the greatness of Nichiren's Buddhism. Today I finish up the topic of Illnesses of the Mind.
Ullusions of thought are primarily mental and acquired, while the Illusions of Desire are chiefly emotional and inherent. Illusions of thought refer to false perceptions of the truth. These can take several forms, including such erroneous notions as regarding our present existence as absolute, even though our bodies are formed from a temporary union of the five components; believing that we own forever what does not in fact belong to us; believing either that life ends at teh moment of death or that it persists beyond death in some eternally unchanging form; not recognizing the law of Cause and Effect; and adhering to misconceptions with such closed-mindedness that we regard inferior things as superior. Illusions of desire can be summarized much more briefly: they include base emotions such as greed, anger, foolishness and arrogance arising in connection with specific objects or events.
The illusions as uncountable as particles of dust and sand ae those that arise as we practice Buddhism with the intention to help others. While recognizing the truth of Buddhist principles, we may at times feel they aren't applicable to certain people's situations. Or we may lack confidence in sharing what we have learned. Yet, conquering these difficulties is the bodhisattva way. When we can fully express our wisdom in dealing directly with every aspect of our lives, including sharing the teachings, we are expressing our Buddahood.
Illusions about the true nature of existence prevent bodhisattvas from awakening to their true nature. These illusions reside in the deepest reaches of the unconscious, and they have the devastating potential to cast our lives into total darkness, depriving us of illumination of compassion and wisdom and leading to self-destruction. Illusions about the true nature of existence generate the impulse to kill and destroy, or as the still more primitive urge to sacrifice others and even delight in doing so. Buddhism teaches that living on the basis of such impulses is in itself a mental illness.
Just as our physical condition affects our mental state, our bodily health is geatly affected by the beliefs (or delusions) we hold and our attitude toward life -- factors that originate in the mind. We can therefore conclude that while the mind is supremely powerful factor in our health condition, at the same time it is especially subtle and susceptible to external influences. Replacing the illusions arising from the three poisons with wisdom, courage and confidence generated by Buddhist practice becomes an important aspect of strengthening and sustaining our spiritual health -- the foundation of physical and mental well-being.
Now, this ends that section of Causes of Illness. While you absorb these wisdoms and let them sink into your subconscious, get ready for the next topic KARMIC DISEASES, which I will bring to you on friday. Thanks for visiting and do come back again. I assure, you will be better for it. Just the facts. Take care of yourselves and see ya. Cheers. CJ

RELIGION or POLITICS ???...Illnesses of the MIND
(I must remind that the past two blogs, the contents therein, and others forthcoming are taken from the book "Unlocking the Mysteries of Birth and Death." written by Daisaku Ideda, President of Soka Gakkai International, a Society of lay people who practice Nichiren Buddhism, members of which are in over 180 countries around the world.)
Greetings and salutations my friends, Happy monday Dec. 20, 2010. Now on to continuing Causes of illness, the title today is, Illnesses of the mind. (in 2 parts).
The fifth cause of disease is the working of "devils" from within that minifest in the form of mental illness.
The concept of devils and their role in illness bears some exploration. Devil ( or MARA in Sanskrit) is often translated as "the destroyer" or "robber of life". Devils in Buddhist mythology are personification of negative internal functions. They represent selfish attachments and bad influences that hinder people's pursuit of truth and that work to prevent them from cultivating a strong, positive life force. Devilish functions are aspects of our own lives that damage our health and hamper the practice of Buddhist teachings.
Devils represent the fundamental tendency of an individual's life toward disharmony of body and mind. Unlike the other four causes of illness, this affects the realm of the mind. Its source is located not in external influences but within the individual, so that the person's life is robbed of its brilliance. The result is the emergence of life's fundamental darkness or delusion.
From darkness and delusion teh three poisons --greed, anger, and foolishness. These poisons are understood as the source of all destructive, selfish desires or attachments, and are essentially devilish.
Greed sends all five sense organs off in a perpetual, insatiable, search for gratification -- wealth, love, food, fame, idleness, and so on --- draining us of innate life force. When our lives are dominated by greed, all our energy is directed toward the object of our desire, weakening us as if the blood were draining from our bodies.
Anger indicates malice born of hatred, which prevents one's heart from turning to goodness and disturbs the harmonious relationships between self and others. This disturbance can lead to conflict of colossal proportrions, engendering strife and war that may eventually destroy our lives.
Foolishness means ignorance of one's own Buddha nature and is characterized by blindness to the law of Cause and Effect, as well as shortsighted attachment to immediate gain. Foolishness prevents people from seeing the damage an unwise way of living has caused to their bodies and minds.
These three poisons are among what Buddhsim terms the basic illusions or "earthly desires". Each is accompanied by specific traits. Greed, for example, is associated with miserliness, self-indulgence, guilt, deceit and adulation. Anger brings about resentment, hatred, irritation, jealousy and the urge to harm other living beings. Twenty such specific traits are identified in Buddhism, and they in turn give rise to an even greater variety of destructive qualities that can disrupt the harmony of life to where we become extremely ill in body or mind --or both. The varied ways in which mental illnesses arise and the complexity of the workings of all these destructive qualities give rise to what are said to be 84,000 types of mental illness as opposed to a mere 404 types of physiological illness.
Another way of looking at earthly desires is in terms of three categories of illusions; illusions of thought and desire, illusions as uncountable as particles of dust and sand, and illusions about the true nature of existence.
Phew, we are half way through this most interesting subject and should give you fair substance for thought and pondering. I will complete and finish this particular subject matter on Wednesday. Thanks so much for visiting and I invite comment. Cheers CJ

RELIGION or POLITICS ?? Buddhism - Cause of illness....
Hello again, y'all, I hope you are looking and reading this series on Causes of Illness. Truthfully, you may learn something important in your life, and also get a clearer insight on the greatness of Nichiren's Bhddhism. In any case, we continue:
The classification of diseases in modern medicine is, of course, far more systematic and thorough than what is presented in the Buddhist scriptures and treatises. The Buddhist approach to medicine can be considered scientific, however, in that it takes into account cause-and-effect relationships. And, while modern medicine tends to view the ailing part of the body in isolation from the rest, treating it alone as if repairing a malfunctioning machine part, Buddhist medicine views disease as a reflection of the total body system, or life itself, and seeks to cure it not only through medical treatment but also through adjustments in the person's life style and outlook.
ILLNESS OF THE BODY.......
The first cause, among the six causes of illness described above, aresicknesses resulting from disharmony among the four elements -- earth, water, fire and wind -- that make up the human body and that correspond to the physical states: solid, liquid, thermal and gaseous.
Disharmony of the four elements refers both to disharmony within the body and to disharmony between the body and its natural environment -- weather, for example. Any disruption of this natural harmony can cause physical disease.
Improper eating or drinking and poor posture ( also described as irregular meditation) -- the second and third causes of illness --
might be viewed as examples of an unbalanced way of life. These would include such things as illnesses arising from poor diet and immoderate consumption of food or drink, or disturbances in the rhythm of our lives -- such as insufficient sleep and exercise -- which make us susceptible to getting sick.
The fourth cause of illness T'ien-T'ai mentions is quite interesting. "Attack of demons", refers to attqacks from outside the body from any of many external forces or influences that can cause physical suffering or even death. For example, invasive pathogenic bacteria or viruses, or even the modern notion of stress, both now widely known to cause many illnesses would be considered demons.
OK, this takes care of the first of the illnesses, and the last one for the week. Be back sunday or monday with the next blog when I will go with "Illnesses of the Mind". I sincerely trust everyone will have a safe and happy weekend and my wish to have you come back and visit me here next week. Thanks so much. I appreciate you. Cheers CJ

RELIGION or POLITICS ?? Buddhism - Cause of illness....
Well, my friends, helloooooooooo! Gosh, here we again half way through the work week, and feeling great, hope you are feeling the same. If not, think about the incredible religious philosophy of Nichiren Buddhism, or at best, look into it and learn how to be irrevocably HAPPY. Today I am going to let you see how Buddhism works with the subject of illness. I will present the contents therein and will take several blogs to cover the topic. You should be quite amazed at the wisdom. So let's get going.
(The contents herein are taken from the book, Unlocking The Mysteries of Birth and Death, by Daisaku Ikeda, President of the Soka Gakkai International, the action arm of Nichiren Buddhism.)
CAUSES OF ILLNESS:
__________________________________________________
DISEASES OF THE BODY
* disharmony of the four elements (discussed later on).
* improper eating or drinking.
* poor posture or irregular meditation.
* attack of demons. (also discussed later).
DISEASES OF THE MIND:
* the work of the devils.
KARMIC DISEASES:
* the effects of karma.
-----------------------------------------------------------------
In Buddhism illnesses are classified in many ways. Some sutras categorize them according to the element whose imbalance is thought to be the cause. Others, according to the part of the bady affected. And yet other sutras classify illnesses according to the time they were caused --- that is, they differentiate between diseases caused in this lifetime and those whose causes can be found in previous lifetimes. For example, according to Nagarjuna's, Treatise on the Great Perfection of Wisdom, diseases are divided into karmic diseases and present diseases, the latter category being subdivided into diseases of the body and diseases of the mind. Diseases of the body are yet further sub-divided into internal diseases ( arising from internal causes) and external diseases (whose causes are external to the body).
T'ien-t'ai, the great sixth-century Chinese Buddhism teacher suggests six causes of illness that cover problems arising from dietary habits, viral infections (such as polio), mental disorders and genetic heritage.
Nichiren, the last Buddha in our history, based his own teachings concerning illness upon this systematic presentation of the Buddhist view of disease and its causes. In a writing called "Curing Karmic Disease", he quoted from T'ien-T'ai's Great Concentration and Insight: "There are six causes of illness:
(1) disharmony of the four elements; (2) improper eating or drinking; (3) poor posture; (4) attack of demons; (5) the work of devils; and (6) the effects of karma."
In this classification, the first four causes correspond to illnesses of the body, the fifth to illnesses of the mind, and the sixth to karmic illness.
Now, friends, I've laid the ground for all the future content disigned to explain in greater detail, that I will begin on friday. You will be healthier for sticking with me on all this and all the way through. I assure you will be far wiser and more enlightened about these mysteries. Ta Ta Cheers CJ

RELIGION or POLITICS ??????? WARNING !!!!!
Hello friends, I hope you all survived the weekend in good shape and looking to have another great week ahead. You will if you happen to be a Nichiren Buddhist, but that is thing for another day. For now, heads up, Wake up, and pay attention.
How confident are you in our nation’s future with President Barack Obama at the helm?
We’ve witnessed the rampant deficit surge under his watch. We’ve seen him push dangerous programs riddled with hidden taxes and wealth-eradicating traps.
And he’s allowed the Fed to print trillions of extra dollars in an effort to intentionally cause inflation while devaluing the dollar.
But many see a light at the end of the tunnel.
Americans overwhelmingly feel a sense of hope now that Republicans will again be able to assert a certain measure of control in D.C.
But did this change come too late? Or even worse, is it possible that both parties are ignoring history and have set a course for a once unthinkable event . . .
The Fall of the Great American Empire?
A powerful new book has just been released that states that President Obama is continuing a reckless cycle of economic, political, and social decisions that began four and a half decades ago. This course has been carried on through both Democratic and Republican administrations.
And now due to decades of mismanagement, America is following an identical pattern that led to the fall of history’s greatest superpowers including Great Britain, ancient Rome, Spain, France, even the Ottoman Empire.
But it seems nobody is paying attention to the writing on the wall. And history may indeed repeat itself.
2015 may be the year in which we finally reach a point where America’s debt will cause an unstoppable downfall.
And those who do not pay heed may expose THEMSELVES AND THEIR FAMILIES FUTURE BY TAKING THE ATTITUDE THAT IT COULDN'T HAPPEN IN AMERICA. WHEN ENOUGH PEOPLE THINK SOME CAN'T HAPPEN LIKE THIS, YOU CAN BET...... IT WILL HAPPEN. Please don't wait until then and then try to convince yourself with " Gee, if I had only known this was going to happen".
That's it for monday, see y'all in a couple days. I have some great info on the value and benefits of Nichiren Buddism. Whether you are Christian or whichever denomination, as long as you have an open mind you will like what is coming up. Guaroonteed. CJ

RELIGION or POLITICS ?? Weekend thoughts.......
Helllo, have a great weekend, people, I know you've worked hard and you deserve it.
This, from a very great man, Glenn Beck, who will become even greater, next year, mark my words.
I believe he will be instrumental in "Saving America's Ass", if people will just wake up, listen, and take action individually and collectively, in supporting his efforts to bring America back to what it's founders meant it to be.
Revolution: This is when the Oppressed rises up against the Oppressors.
Beck says the Revolution has begun. It is now beginning in Europe and will eventuall come to Amercica. (See- England and Greece).
It is done by seizing control of, not overtly but gradually and quietly.
First Control of:
* Financial Sector, already on the way, by George Soros.
*Healthcare. Already passed.
*Industry. Likewise.
Military: In the works.
Grow dependents. Already on the books with Entitlements. 40 million on food stamps right now.
Media: Already controled as well as being racists. Global change is here and working.
This is the year, when the roll of Super Power status was handed over to CHINA.
On the Front Burner is "FORCE FOR CHAOTIC GOOD".
WAKE UP, LOOK FOR THE SIGNS, AND BE AN ALERT AMERICA CITIZEN. BE COUNTED.
MORE WISDOM:
* DEVELOP A PROFOUND BELIEF IN THE UNIVERSAL LAW OF 'CAUSE AND EFFECT' -- THE IMPOWERING CONVICTION THAT WE ALL ULTIMATELY DIRECT OUR OWN LIVES.
* OUR PAST AND OUR FUTURE SIMULTANEOUSLY EXIST IN OUR PRESENT.
* YOUR ACTIONS ARE SIMULTANEOUSLY THE RESULT OF PAST KARMA AND THE CREATION OF NEW KARM. ACTION CREATES MEMORY, AND MEMORY CREATES DESIRE. DESIRE PRODUCES FURTHER ACTION, WHICH CONTINUES THE CYCLE OF KARMA. TO BE AWARE OF THIS REALITY AND TO MASTER YOUR ACTIONS ARE THE KEYS TO CREATING THE KARMA OF HAPPINESS.
* YOU ARE WHAT YOU BELIEVE.
Oh man, and lady, this ought to hold you for a couple days, and I look forward to seeing and getting with you again next week .
Tata, A whole bunch of Cheers. CJ

RELIGION or POLITICS - Today - Eastern Wisdom!!!
Happy Hump Day y'all,
Hey, today I am going to wander from my usual topics, religion or politics, and go into bringing you some more Eastern Wisdom. I just love this stuff, and I hope some of you visitors will get the same enjoyment.
Somewhere along my ways, I came across this quote, " You are about as happy as you make up your mind to be". When I read it, I paused to ponder the words, and I eventually realized, by golly, the words were true. So I follow up the subject of "happiness" with some of this Eastern Wisdom.
Everything humanity has ever created began with a thought. The place where you live, the clothes that you wear, and the paper you write on were once only thoughts in someone's mind. Your decision to read this, too, began with a thought.
HAPPINESS SHAPES THOUGHT
Everything we think is colored by our happiness, or lack thereof. Although individual definitions of happiness vary greatly, we all want to be happy. Early in life, we look for happiness among family, friends, even toys. Later in lie, we may look for happiness in religion, money, sex, alcohol, education, marriage..... We all know where we have looked. But, did we find what we were searching for?????
OPENNESS MANIFESTS HAPPINESS
Genuine happiness, or inlightment, is already within us; we have only to reveal it. As spring water rushes through open earth, so happiness flows through open lives. The question is how to open our lives to this inherent joy.
Here are some suggestions:
* NEVER SEEK HAPPINESS OUTSIDE YOURSELF.
*EVERYTHING PEOPLE SAY OR DO IS ULTIMATELY ROOTED IN THE BELIEF THAT THESE ACTIONS WILL LEAD THEM TO HAPPINESS.
* LIFE ISN'T ABOUT ABOUT WHAT HAPPENS TO US; ITS ABOUT HOW WE PERCEIVE WHAT HAPPENS TO US.
* FAME, MATERIAL WEALTH, AND SOCIAL STATUS DO NOT GUARANTEE HAPPINESS, IN FACT, THEY OFTEN HINDER IT.
* ENLIGHTENMENT, OR TRUE HAPPINES, IS NOT A TRANSCENDENTAL STATE. IT IS A CONDITION OF BROAD WISDOM, BOUNDLESS ENERGY, AND GOOD FORTUNE WHEREIN WE SHAPE OUR OWN DESTINY, FIND FULFILLMENT IN DAILY ACTIVITIES, AND COME TO UNDERSTAND OUR ULTIMATE PURPOSE IN LIFE.
OK folks, this ought to hold you for a few hours if you have the wisdom to recognize this wisdom printer herein, and then maybe let some of it affect a little part of your life, at least. If not, oh well, so be it, but don't forget to check back as often as possible and find out why you should WAKE UP AND BE ALERT TO WHAT IS HAPPENING TO AMERICA, AND ULTIMATELY TO YOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOUUUU. RELIGION or POLITICS ? Today, THINGS I'VE LEARNED..
Hi y'all, How's it going for you today so far. Well, I hope, even if you had a great weekend and didn't feel
like coming to work today. I too am in a little bit of a mental slump. Some might say, "so what else is
new"? But, after listening to Glenn Beck this afternoon, I had to sort of go into neutral and ponder some
of the things Beck had to say about the near future for this country.
He had warned a year ago, predicting that this country would be quite different by Christmas 2010, and he
pointed out some of those things that made him look like a true Seer.
One was INFLATION. If you do any of your shopping you know very well that prices are starting to
soar. To say nothing of gas prices, up at leasst 30c a gallong in the last 3-4 weeks, and we are looking
ritght in the face of $3.00 a gallon. Potatoes, milk, and on. YOu can almost mention any food item and it
has gone up 10% or more. Now, who suffers the most. Right, people on low income.
Yet our Treasury head, Bernanke, said there is no inflation, or about the same as a couple years ago. On
that basis, a ruling was made to NOT give a cost of living raise, as has been the custom, to seniors on
Socail Security, none in 2009, and now again in 2010. For the most part, these are people in relative low
income. Do you get the picture??? Think of the many millions in this income category, and a prime target
for socialism, they needing eventually, on this path, to more government assistance and therefore,
government controlled. Sure, Socialism. We sure as hell don't want that, as true Americans. We DO
want our capitalist system and our freedoms, that is what we want. Period. Right, right? Right.
Here are some of the things Progressives have publicly said about there plans for good old USA.
A Nightmare Scenario ending in a total economic breakdown of America and already planting the seed
for violence and choas. It is in the works folks, so pay attention to Beck and keep posted as to the
progress as it unfolds.
Global Warming is just another plan for socializing the world and at the same time draining money and
capital from the public. Be aware, people, keep your eyes and ears open to what is happening. Stand up
and say, "hell NOOOOOOO".
Obama has been quoted as saying his plan for America is to establish Social Justice, which success
depends on Collective salvation. That means for the masses. CONTROL.
Now I am going to track all this daily and will keep you all updated and posted, when I get information
that will keep you alert and informed. Thanks for reading and visiting. I appreciate you. Cheers CJ

RELIGION or POLITICS - This is INTERESTING ......Re: Religion
Greetings my good friends, here we are again looking at another restful weekend. What????? Not going to be restful???? Well, if you get a chance, give it all a rest anyway. Good for the soul, aha !
Anyway, This is in an interview with Deepak Chopra, new age author and Lecturer, and his take on religion. Which, incidentally, is similar to my own. As a Nichiren Buddhist, I, as part of our religious philosophy, do not accept the theory of a single all powerful deity. Obviously, this clashes with all fundamental religions, which is where most of the divisive action radiates from. So here is what Deepak Chopra reveals as in his thinking.
The first question to him was "Do you consider yourself Hindu?"
Chopra, "No, there's a lot of wonderful insights, but I believe religion is divisive, quarrelsome and idiotic".
Next question. "Aren't you considered a religious figure?"
Chopra: I'm an explorer of spirituality. Spirituality is inclusive, unifying. It does not contradict what we know of evolution...If you take a look at the world, most fervent believers are funda-mentalists, and they're making a mess of the world. This morning I had a dream that species from another highly evolved planet were looking at us and thinking, :These people are going to self-destruct in a short time".
Last question: What is your spiritual practice.?
Chopra: I meditate for two hours every day. I also do a reality check several times a day. I ask myself, "Am I in the being mode, thinking or doing mode"? I also think about experiences that evoke feelings of love and compassion. It's important not to burdened by the past and go with the moment. All problems are in the past or the future".
BUDDHISM ORIGINATED IN INDIA, AND SPREAD OUT FROM THERE. I JUST LOVE EASTER WISDOME. IT HELPS TO TAKE THE ONUS OUT OF LIFE AND PREPARES US TO MEET LIFE WITH HAPPINESS EACH AND EVERY DAY NO MATTER WHAT HAPPENS. TO CONSIDER JOY AND SUFFERING AS A FACT OF LIFE. ENJOY WHAT THERE IS TO ENJOY AND SUFFER WHAT THERE IS TO SUFFER AND AND LET FAITH AND THE LAW OF 'CAUSE AND EFFECT' HANDLE THE DETAILS. WHAT A GLORIOUS FEELING THIS GIVES YOU.
So long for now, enjoy your weekend, and think good thoughts and look around every day for things to be grateful for. YOU will be glad you did. Many Cheers. CJ

RELIGION or POLITICS ? The Presidency and the Constitution, Finale.
(Wisdom from Imprimis published Hillsdale College. The article is by Mike Pence, Representative of Indiana's 6th Congressional district.")
Hey people, here we are at Hump Day and already looking forward to another glorious weekend, right?
Of course, at least, at this point we can still look forward to something in the future we can enjoy, but don't look long term that way unless you realize, recognize, and prepare for possible hard times. At least be forewarned and accept the potential reality of what I am saying. If you are not listening to Glenn Beck you will never learn the hard side of our present economic plunge. LISTEN TO BECK, !!!!!!
And now to complete the subject matter of the past few blogs. Hope you are filing this in your memory.
The presidencey, a great and complex subject upon which I have only touched, has become symbolic of overreaching. There are many truths that we have been frightened to tell or face. If we run from them, they will catch us with our backs turned and pull us down. Better that we should not flee but rather stop and look them in the eye.
What might our forebears say to us, knowing what they knew, and having done what they did? I have no doubt that they would tell us to channel our passions, speak the truth and do what is right, slowly and with resolution; to work calmly, steadily and without animus or fear; to be like a rock in the tide, let the water tumble about us, and be firm and unashamed in our love of country.
I see us like those in Philadelphia in 1776 . Danger all around, but a fresh chapter, ready to begin, uncorrupted, with great possibilities and -- inexplicably, perhaps miraculously -- the way is clearing ahead. I have never doubted that Providence can appear in history like the sun emerging from behind the clouds, if only as a reward for adherence to first principles. As Winston Churdhill said in a speech to Congress on December 26, 1941: " He must indeed have a blind soul who cannot see that some great purpose and design is being worked our her below, of which we have the honor to be the faithful servants.
As Americans, we inherit what Lincoln in his First Inaugural called "the mystic chords of memory stretching from every patriot grave." They bind to the great and the humble, the know and the unknown of Americans past --and if I hear them clearly, what they say is that although we may have strayed, we have not strayed too far to return, for we are their descendants. We can still astound the world with justice, reason, and strength. I know this is true, but even if it was not we could not in decency stand down, if only for our debt to history. We owe a debt to tose who came before, who did great things, and suffered more than we suffer, and gave more than we give, and pledged their lives, theri fortunes, and their sacred honor for us, whom they did not know. For we "drink from wells we did not dig" and are "warmed by fires we did not build," and so we must be faithful in our time as they were in theirs.
Many generations are gone, but by the character and memory of their existence they forbid us to despair of the republic. I see ehm crossing the prairies in the sun and wind. I see their faces looking out from the steel mills and coal mines, and immigrant ships crawling into harbors at dawn. I see them at work, and at peace. I see them, long departed, looking into the camera, with hopeful and sad eyes. And I see them embracing their children, who became us. They are our family and our blood, and we cannot desert them. In spirit, all of them down to all of us, in a connection that, out of love, we cannot betray.
They are silent now and forever, but from the eternal silence of every patriot grave the is yet an echo that says "It is not too late; keep faith with us, keep faith with God, and do not, do not ever despair of the republic."
That is it my friends, and I sincerely hope you get the true American spirit that motivated the writing of this article by Mike Pence, Wisdom from Imprimis published Hillsdale College. The article is by Mike Pence, Representative of Indiana's 6th Congressional district." See you all soon. cheer, CJ

(Wisdom from Imprimis published Hillsdale College. The article is by Mike Pence, Representative of Indiana's 6th Congressional district."
Happy monday, y'all, and a whole new week ahead. Hold your Faith in yourself, strong, and make it a great one. Only you can do that, ya' know. And so to continue............
(I concluded my last blog with "And to repeat, you do not apologize to them, the enemies of the United States."
Now, Closely related to this, and perhaps the least ambiguous of the president's complex responsibilities, is his duty as commander-in-chief of the military. In this regard there is a very simple rule, unknown to some presidents regardless of party: If, after careful determination, intense stress of soul, and the deepest prayer, you go to war, then, having gone to war, you go to war to win. You do not cast away American lives, or those of the innocent noncomabatant enemy, upon a theory, a gambit or notion. And if the politics of your won election or of your party intrude upon your decisions for even an instant--there are no words for this.
More commonplace, but hardly less important, are other expectations of the president in this regard. He must not stint on the equipment and provisioning of the armed forces, and if he errs it must no be on the side of scarcity but of surplus. And he must be the guardian of his troops, taking every step to avoid loss of a single life.
The American soldier is as precious as the closest of your kin---because he is your kin, and for his sake the president must, in effect, say to Congress and to the people: "I am the Commander-in-Chief. It is my sacred duty to defend the United States, and to give our soldiers what they need to complete the mission and come home safe, whatever the cost."
If, in fulfilling this duty, the president wavers, he will have betrayed his office, for this is not a policy, it is probity. It is written on the blood-soaked ground of Saratoga, Yorktown, Antietam, Cold Harbor, the Marne, Guadacanal, the Pointe du Hoc, the Chosin Reservoir, Khe Sanh, Iraq, Afghanistan, and a thousand other places in our history, in lessons repeated over and over again.
O.K., this is pretty darn good for monday, don't you think? and I hope you are absorbing the importance of what I am writing about in my last few blogs, it is important to our futue, all of us.
In my next offering here, I will complete this really great comtribution by Rep. Mike Pence.
Many cheers, CJ
Happy monday, y'all, and a whole new week ahead. Hold your Faith in yourself, strong, and make it a great one. Only you can do that, ya' know. And so to continue............

RELIGION or POLITICS ? The Presidency and the Constitution, cont'd
Hi over-eaters, maybe if you are lazy and bummed out from eating you will sit down and chew in this piece of wisdom from Imprimis published Hillsdale College. The article is by Mike Pence, Representative of Indiana's 6th Congressional district.
Cont'd from Wednesday:::::::
As the president returns to the consistent application of the principles in the Constitution, he will also ensure fiscal responsibility and prosperity. Who is better suited, with his executive and veto powers, to carry over the duty of self restraint and discipline to the idea of fiscal solvency? Whe the president restrains government spending, leaving room for the American people to enjoy the fruits of their labor, growth is inevitable. As Senator Robert Taft wrote: "Liberty has been the key to our progress in the past and is eh key to our progress in the future... If we can preserve liberty in all its essentials, there is no limit to the future of the American people."
Whereas teh president must be cautious, dutiful, and deferential at homem his character must change abroad. Were he to ask for a primer on how to act in relationship to other states, which no holder of the office has needed to this point, and were that primer to be written by the American people, whether of 1776 or 2010, you can be confident that it would contain the following instructions.
"You do not bow to kings. Outside our shores, the President of the United States of America bows to no man. When in foreign lands, you do not criticize your own county. YOu do not argue the case against the United States, but the case for it. You do not apologize to the enemies of the United States. Should you be confused, a country, or region that harbors, shelters, supports, encourages, or cheers attacks upon our country or the slaughter of our freinds and families are enemies of the United States. And, to repeat, you do not apologize to them. PERIOD.
And so my friends, please do have a great weekend and there is more here on this present subject, aand so I will continue on with it in a day or so. Thanks for reading. Cheers CJ

RELIGION or POLITICS ? The Presidency and the Constitution, cont'd
Hello you all, one day before Thanksgiving. I looked at yesterday's blog and noted that I didn't really complete an important part, so today I wish to do that. Below is a refresher from it and the completion, which you will agree is important to the story of Coolidge., plus a continued observation and declaration.
There is not finer, more moving, or more profound under-standing of the nature of the presidency and the command of humility placed upon it than that expressed by President Coolidge. He, like Lincoln, lost a child while he was president, a son of sixteen. "The day I became president," Coolidge wrote, "he had just started to work in a tobacco field," When one of his fellow laborers said to him, 'if my father was president I would not work in a tobacco field,' Calvin replied, "if my father were your father you would," His admiration for the boy was obvious.
Young Calvin contracted blood poisoning from an incident on the South Laws of the White House. Coolidge wrote, " What might have happened to him under other circumstances we do not know, but if I had not been president....." And then he continued,
In his suffering he was asking me to make him well, I could not. When he went, the power and glory of the Presidency went with him.
A sensibility such as this, and not power, is the source of presidential dignity, and MUST BE RESTORED! It depends entirely on character, self discipline, and an understanding of the fundamental principles that underlie not only the republic, but life itself. It communicates that the president feels the gravity of his office and is willing to sacrifice himself; that his eye is not upon his own prospects but on the storm of history, through which he must navigate with the specific powers accorded to him and the limitations placed on those powers by man and by God.
Thank you for visiting, and I think there must be an overhaul of what it takes to be a real President of the United States. and an indivual worthy of becoming one. BE alert, and be aware, and
for the present, have a great holiday season. Cheers CJ

RELIGION or POLITICS ? The Presidency and the Constitution cont'd.
(More of the the writings of US Representative. Mike Pence of Indiana, as presented in the monthly newsletter published by Hillsdale College.)
Hi faithful readers, good to have you here only two days before Thanksgiving. I do hope you readers will try to apprecaite what is being written here. In view of what lies ahead, in the opinion of wiser people than I, you should be forewarned to, if not already, wake up and smell the odor rediating form our Capital. Then, if not, you will be forced to, one day, I wish I had listened and acted like a real heads-up and country loving citizen of the United States of America. When you do you will be happy to do the right thing and help set the country straight, by throwing the rascals out in 2012...... To proceed.
The powers of the presidency are extraordinary and necessarily great, and great presidents treat them sparingly. For example, it is not the president's job to manipulate the nations's youth for the sake of his agenda or his party. They are a potent political force when massed by the social network to which they are permanenetly attached. But if the president has their true interests at heart he will neither flatter them nor let them adore him, for in flattery is condescension and in adoration is direction, and youth is neither seasoned nor tested enough to direct the nation. Nor should it be the president's business to presume to direct them. It is difficult enough to do right by one's own children. No one can be the father of a whole continent's youth.
Is the president, therefore, expected to turn away from this and other easy advantage? Yes, like Harry Truman, who went to bed before the result of the election night, he must know when to withdraw, to hold back, and to forgo attention, publicity, or advantage.

RELIGION or POLITICS ? The Presidency and the Constitution
(For now, I will continue with the writings of US Representative. Mike Pence of Indiana, as presented in the monthly newsletter published by Hillsdale College.)
Happy Sunday, good people, here we go on the continuation from above. Thanks for stopping in.
It is a tragedy indeed that new generations taking office attribute failures in governance to insufficient power, and seek more of it. In the judiciary, this has seldom been better expressed than by Justice Thurgood Marshall, who said "You do what you think is right and let the law catch up." In the Congress, it presents itself in massive legislation, acts and codes thousands of pages long and so monstrously over complicated that no human can read through them -- much less understand them, much less apply them justly to people that increasingly feel like they are no longerbeing asked but rather told Our nation finds itself in the position of a dog whose duty is not to ask why -- because the "why" is too elevated for his nature -- but simply toOBEY.
The president in not our teacher, our tutor, or ruler. He does not commmand us; we command him. We serve neither him nor his vision. It is not his job or his prerogative to redefine custom, law and beliefs; to appropreiate industries; to seize the country as it were, by the shoulders or by the throat so as to impose by force of theatrical charisma his justice upon 300 million others. It is neither his job nor his prerogative to shift the power of decision away from them and to him and the acolytes of his choosing.
Is my characterization of unprecedented presumption incorrect?? Listen to the wordsof the leader of President Obama's transition team and perhaps this mext chief-of-Staff. "It's important that President elect Obama is prepared to really take power and begin to rule day one." Or, more recently, the latest presidential appointment to avoid confirmation by the senate -- the new head of the cosumer Financial Protection Bureau --who wrote last Friday: "President Obama understands the importance of leveling the playing field again."
"Take power ...rule...leveling."
Though it is the model now, this has never been and should never be the model of the presidency or the character of the American president. No one can say this to strongly, and no one can say it enough until it is remedied. We are not subjects, we are citizens. We fought a war so that we do not have to treat even kings like kings, and --if I may remind you -- we won that war. Since then, the principle of royalty has, in this country, been inoperative. Who is better suited or more required to exemplify this conviction, in wordd and deed, that the President of the United States??
OK folks, I hope you all will read this carefully and see what is happening in our governmten these days and why it shouldn't be happening. Bad days ahead. Keep Alert. Cheers CJ

RELIGION or POLITICS ? The Presidency and the Constitution
Hi y'all, hope you have had a great, which I have had and grateful for, and my wish is for you too. Not only a great week for me and my wife, but we are truly blessed to be able to listen and learn from Glenn Beck, whom I consider an uncredible human being, but also a GREAT AMERICAN. If you are not listening to him and paying attention then I feel sorry for you and would consider you a person lacking in intelligence but also lacking in love of country, and deserve to be unprepared for what lies ahead, and suffer accordingly.
BEWARE OF GEORGE SOROS AND WHAT HE AND THE FAR LEFT HAVE IN STORE FOR THIS COUNTRY. WAKE UP, WAKE UP, AND WAKE UP..................
But for now, I will continue with the writings of US Representative. Mike Pence of Indiana, as presented in the monthly newsletter published by Hillsdale College.
The Presidency must adhere to its definition as expressed in the Constitution, and to conduct defined over time and by tradition. While the powers of the office have enlarged, along with those of the legislature and the judiciary, the framework of the government was intended to restrict abuses common to classical empires and to the regal states of the 19th century.
Without proper adherence to the role contemplated in the Constitution for the presidency, the checks and balances in the constitutional plan become weakened. This has been most obvious in recent years when the three branches of government have been subject to the tutelage of a single party. Under either party, presidents have often forgotten that they are intended to restrain the Congress at times, and that thus fused in unholy unity, the political class has raged forward in drunken expansion of powers and prerogatives, mistakenly assuming that to exercise power is by default to do good.
Even the simplest among us knows that this is not so. Power is an instrument of fatal consequence. It is confined no more readily than quicksilver, and escapes as easily as air flows through mesh. Therefore, those who are entrusted with it must educate themselves in self-restraint. A republic is about limitation, and for good reason, because we are mortal and our actions are imperfect.
The tragedy of presidential decisions is that even with the best choice, some, perhaps many, will be left behind, and some, perhaps many, will die. Because of this, a true statesman lives continuously with what Churchill called "stress of soul". He may give to Paul, but only because he robs Peter. And that is why you must always become wary of a president who seems to float on his own greatness. For all greatness is tempered by mortality, every sould is equal, and distinctions among men cannot be owned: they are on loan from God, who takes them back and evens accounts at the end.
OK, so much for friday, and trust all are looking for a great weekend and a new week ahead. One word of advice I am merely passing along. Start being grateful for your blessing, and you will soon discover there will be even more that could hope for. Lots of cheers. CJ

RELIGION or POLITICS ? The Presidency and the Constitution
Greetings good people, tis mid-week and time keeps forging ahead, no matter, what is happening or what lies ahead that we might well not enjoy. What is happening is directly laid in the lap of George Soros, and in conjunction with, is our (yuck) President. Make no mistake, they want to wreck this country and will do it by knocking down the dollar to worthless level, and outrageous inflation.
All in direct opposition to the Constitution and the Declaration of Independence. You remember this latter one don't you?
I have stuff relating to George Soros and what he is doing, but today, I want to bring you up to snuff on the subject headline, The Presidency and the Constitution. It may cover several blogs.
(The contents will be quoted from an Article by Mike Pence, U.S. representative from Indiana, a publication of Hillsdale College, called IMPRIMIS, out monthly, and in incredible source for Conservatism.)
The Presidency is the most visible thread that runs through the tapestry of the American government. More of often than not, for good or for ill, it sets the tone for the other branches and spurs the expectations of the people. It's powers are vast and consequential, its requitements impossible for mortals to fulfill without humility and insistent attention to its purpose as set forth in the Constitution of the United States.
Isn't it amazing, given the great and momentous nature of the office, that those who seek it seldom pause to consider what they are seeking? Rather, unconstrained by principle or reflection, there is a mad rush toward something that, once its powers are seized, the new president can wield as an instrument with which to transform the nation and the people according to his hightest aspirations.
But, other than in a crisis of the house divided, the presidency is neither fit nor intended to be such an instrument. When it is made that, the country sustains a wound, and cries out justly and indignantly. And what the nation says is the theme of this address. What it says -- informed by its long history, impelled by the laws of nature and nature's God -- is that we as a people are not to be ruled and not to be commanded. It says that the president should never forget this; that he has not risen above us, but is merely one of us, chosen by ballot, dismissed after his term, tasked not to transform and work his will upon us, but to bear the weight of decision and to carry out faithfully the design laid down in the Constitution in accordance with the Declaration of Independence.
Now people, please read this carefully, because there is much more, and you will not want to lose the continuity. When all this is completed, you will clearly see what we have up there in Washington, doing exactly opposite to what he is supposed to and voted in office to do. Thanks for reading, stay with me, ok, Cheers CJ

RELIGION or POLITICS - ..HOW HAPPY ARE YOU????
Happy monday, y'all,
I apologize for being late, but have had a precarious health problem pop up, and had to go to a surgeon for a diagnosis. As it turned out, after getting a sound of my abdomen, which is where the problem originates, that the problem is indeed serious, but not at the present and perhaps not in the near future. Just something to keep an eye on, you know?
Anyway, it is too late to get a blog off today but will engineer one tomorrow.
Meantime, be assured, America is in deep doodoo and that means all of us , and I will kind of fill you in tomorrow as to what and why. Just be prepared, heavy inflation is coming and already on the way. Um, haven't you noticed in your grocery shopping and at the gas station???? It will be painful for most, and it will certainly call on your spiritual strength to weather. I hope yours is strong. I know mine is, and if you don't yet have a spiritual anchor, give a thought to looking into Nichiren Buddhism. It flat out works.
Many cheers to start the week. CJ
CJ

RELIGION or POLITICS - ..HOW HAPPY ARE YOU????
Hello again on this beautiful TGIF friday, or at least is here in Bradenton, Fl., and even if it was snowing, I'd think it was a beautiful day. But how about YOU. Well, if you enjoy total happiness, then you are going to think everyday is beautiful.
So, to catch up on my blogs, having skipped a day this week, let me ask you a question:
Do you believe in the possibility of lasting happiness?????? Read on:
Or does this seem like something forever out of reach, a dream on the distant horizon? Would you react skeptically if told that you were born -- just as you are -- with everything it takes to cultivate an indestructible state of happiness?
According to Aristotle, "HAPPINESS DEPENDS ON OURSELVES". But just what is happiness? Is it the fulfillment or our every wish and desire? Is it the absence of all suffering?
WE (Nichiren Buddhism) BELIEVE THAT HAPPINESS IS BEING ABLE TO EXPERIENCE PROFOUND JOY THAT COMES FORM NEVER BEING DEFEATED BY ANY PROBLEMS IN LIFE. In fact, we use the challenges of our lives as a catalyst to deepen and expand our inner lives. Despite a culture of instand gratification that influences so much of modern living, happiness is not a quick fix attained overnight. Rather, it results from our efforts to manifest life's highest potentials -- wisdom, compassion, courage and vitality -- on a daily basis.
NICHIREN BUDDHISM PROVIDES A CONCRETE MEANS TO TAP INTO THESE TRAITS THAT EVERY HUMAN BEING HOLDS IN UNLIMITED SUPPLY.
Even amidst the most difficult times, happiness is definitely not out of reach. We can indeed move in the direction of our dreams and face our problems wisely and courageously. We can come to savor the greatest of joys; the ability to live life with a deeper and stronger sense of confidence, appreciation and hope. WE HAVE THE POWER TO TAKE CHARGE OF OUR OWN DESTINY and become a source of positive change in our family, local community and the entire world.
And friends, it is going to take all of the above to survive the next couple of years in our America, to try and keep America from being taken over by people inside our country. More on this Monday. Keep in touch folds. YOur future happiness depends on the actions we Americans will take from now on.. so have a great weekend, Cheers CJ

RELIGION or POLITICS ---HEADS UP, PEOPLE ....
Sorry, folks, I just got caught up on a few personal things yesterday and didn't get my blog off, please forgive me. thanks. NOW PAY ATTENTION HERE THIS IS SERIOUS. To repeat ------
"BAD THINGS HAPPEN WHEN PEOPLE THING THEY WON'T".
George Soros, the multi-billionaire is the power behind what is happening. He put the Bank of England out of business along with three other currencies around the world and he has now dedicated to doing the same thing with America and the dollar.. Huge inflation will be the results, and you won't believe what you will pay for stuff, like $23 for a quart of milk, and $18 for a loaf of bread. Ya think it can't happen, then you deserve to live it, and guess who Soros's errand boy is?????????. Hey you have the right and opportunity to respond to this, so do it. I'd like to hear from you, or you, or you. READ ON.
Unbeknown to most investors, the Obama administration is quietly planning to devalue the U.S. Dollar even MORE. The decision has been made . . . And it's working.
Obama adviser Warren Buffett accidentally revealed in a recent CNBC interview what the Administration REALLY has planned all along.
Buffett told the interviewer that the United States will do what
Every other country has done when faced with huge obligations
And decreasing revenues — inflate (devalue) the currency!
The reason is simple.
The Democrats have waited nearly 30 years, ever since Ronald Reagan was elected, to begin spending money on social programs again.
They're not about to let a global economic wipeout stand in their way.
Deliberately devaluing the U.S. Dollar will make U.S. Government debt obligations less onerous, American exports relatively cheap, and rally the stock market.
There is only one problem with their plan!
By causing inflation to soar, it will wipe out the life savings of generations . . . And destroy the U.S. Economy for decades to come . . .
Dollar Devaluation Is a Done Deal
The Destruction of the Dollar,
When the market crashed more than 18 months ago, the dollar strengthened significantly. Investors worldwide fled to the greenback. Hundreds of billions of poured into the United States.
But all that ended quickly when Barack Obama took office.
Once Obama and congressional Democrats began handing out trillions of dollars in bailouts and posting record deficits, the confidence of world investors was badly shaken. The value of the U.S. Dollar began plunging.
Since taking office, the Obama administration has increased the monetary base by a staggering $10 trillion (see chart below). In less than a year, it managed to DOUBLE the expected annual budget deficit to almost $2 trillion.
The result was predictable: The stock market rallied . . . But the once mighty dollar has PLUNGED against foreign currencies.
That's WHY Warren Buffett, for the first time ever, shifted more than 20 percent of Berkshire Hathaway's portfolio outside the country and into non-dollar assets.
This estimate does not include companies he holds, such as Coca-Cola, that draw huge portions of their earnings from abroad.
Inflation Is About to Wipe Out the
Stock Market Gains of Recent Months!
These are dangerous times. If you have spent the past 10 YEARS investing in the Dow Jones Industrial Average, your investments have lost money — a lot of money.
Since the market hit its historic 2007 high, stocks have plummeted. In March of this year, the Dow hit a new decade low of 6,547 — a drop of more than 53 percent from the high. The market has rebounded since that low but remains down nearly 40 percent.
But here is what should really have you worried!
The recent stock market rally was fueled almost entirely by the MASSIVE infusion of $10 trillion in borrowed government cash, according to our analysts.
All that government borrowing has boosted the market but will trigger inflation that the United States hasn't seen since the 1970s.
If the stock market during the next two years rises by more than 8 percent a year but real inflation hits the U.S. economy at more than 10 percent, investors will experience negative asset value.
The same thing has happened with the socialist-controlled Venezuelan stock market, one of the few stock markets in the world doing well now. When you factor in that country's skyrocketing inflation rate — now averaging 30 percent! — investors in Venezuela are losing their shirts.
Obama Is Making the Same Mistake As . . .
Twenty years ago, Japan was one of the richest countries in the world and had one of the highest standards of living. Everyone was talking about "Theory Z" and the Japanese state-controlled approach to business.
Then, in the 1990s, the Japanese asset bubble in stocks and real estate went through a crash similar to what we are experiencing now.
Rather than use free-market approaches to address the problem, Japanese policymakers did many of the same things the Obama administration is doing today, such as keeping interest rates artificially low, spending heavily — and deliberately devaluing the yen to spur exports.
The result: The Japanese economy has NEVER recovered. The Nikkei, the Japanese stock market, plummeted 86% — and is STILL down 75% from its historic high. Today, the Japanese rank 24th in the world in per-capita income, according to the International Monetary Fund.
Finally, a point you must remember. Obama"s Trillion-dollar health plan ... It's driving investors away from the United States. And it's only the beginning. So again, WAKE UP, REALLY WAKE UP.
Hey, this is all for today and it is only the beginning to what is coming, stay tuned. Cheers. CJ

RELIGION or POLITICS - How about this, Obama? INFLATION?????
LESSON FOR TODAY.......
"TEACH A MAN CORRECT PRINCIPLES AND LET HIM
GOVERN HIMSELF"
Greetings to all for another wonderful week. Hey, last week was good and this week will be better.
I know that most people want to feel hopeful and believe that now that we seem to have answered a desparate need in changing the scene in Washington, which is true. BUT, the Dems still have strength in the Senate, and Obama I still espousing his agenda, as if, oh you know, expecting compromise. That would be a big mistake, pray it doesn't happen, but be aware, Obama follows the Doctrine of the Inevitabilitiy of Gradualism. Which means if he can get compromise and make his points little by little, he will eventually reach his goals, and those envelope Socialsism and Fascism.
Meantime, here's what lies ahead:
Way of life is about to change, because "Bad things happen, when people don't think they can".
40,000,000 Americans on food stamps.
As for China, they get $3.9 dollars for each $1 dollar spent here.
There were like 1 billion 2 cell phones sold in the states, and a big 0 of them made here.
470,000 factories closed here since 2001
There were 1.2 million jobs less, and lost for over 99 weeks.
NEWS------George Soros the Multi-billionaire, who is suspected in controlling the Progressive Agenda of Obama's, is buying up gold anywhere he can (as is China). And Soros, who Beck calls "Spookie dude", also is into buying up certain foods, anticipating a big rise in inflation shortly. And is already showing signs of doing so. And the value of the dollar is going down and certain faction's goal is to make it worthless. Good bye, America.
Prices on food commodities are going up, and so manufacturers having to pay more, a lot more for sure later, they are being forced to raise prices, like in --dairy products, Kraft, General Mills, coffee, meat, sugar, and so on. Rice is already flying.
And the beat goes on folks. This big sign to watch for is China and being reported to say "No More Bonds", They already own just short of a TRILLION dollars of US Bonds. Another good bye America.
Keep you eyes open, keep alert, and be wise. Lots of cheers, CJ

RELIGION or POLITICS - How about this, Obama? INFLATION?????
Greetings my food friends,
Well this has been one hell of a week, don't you think??? The Conservatives are euphoric and the Dems are trying to ignore the whole thing.
But, has this slowed up Mr. President, oh yea, Obama. NO, it has not in the slightest, only that he will fight the GOP, and maybe compromise. All the time leading up to the election, Mr. President has planned, for months, this incredible vacation to INDIA. Not one word of this trip was reported by the Media. I personally got wind of it through Rush Limbaugh and Glenn Beck, and this only in the last week or so.
Now, I imagine a lot of you know about it by now, but here is the basic itinerary. Mr. President is taking roughly 3000 people of assorted backgrounds along with him. They are staying in the Taj Mahal, which is nice, huh? Then there will 60 assorted airplanes, along with the Navy sending some ships and aircraft carrier or two, to protect Mr. President. The cost of this has been estimated to be around 200 MILLION a DAY. The Dems say this figure is highly inaccurate and inflated. Gee, even if it only costs 100 million a day, seems exorbitant, don't you? But what the heck it's only money.
The question arises, as to WHY the trip? Well, we are told now that he is there to promote business with several of the countries in the area, that he plans to visit, all with his good old tela-prompter. He wants to do this so he can say he is creating new jobs for Americans. Uh huh! Sure, BUY,
The latest rumor, though, is that Obama is actually there to promote and set up a World Government, with him as Top Dog. True of false, don't know, but keep your eyes open.
Now, while you look forward to your weekend, if you voted for the right side this week, then rest easy, but don't get comfortable, because I am going to report what I've learned about this imminent inflation, and if that doesn't give you pause and a bit of a shudder, then don't say you weren't warned. Life, people is NOT going to get easier, and I, for one, as an independent, am going to hope the Repubs don't mess up this time, but I don't like the sound of what some of old long term politicians seem to have in mind regarding the Tea Party and Sara Palin. Again keep a sharp eye on the developments and don't hesitate to speak your mind, we've got to keep them to the fire. Lots of /cheers, CJ

RELIGION or POLITICS - This is INTERESTING ......Social Security
Well, good people, it's all over but the shouting, hope you voted and happy with the results, if not, too bad. Boo Hoo ! In my opinion the only down side was Reid getting his seat back in Nevada, and I hope I spelled his name wrong. Anyway, for the good of America it is a great first step back to sanity, and the Costitution, And I only hope also that the left leaning Republicans will wake up and get with the rest and listen to what the people of America are saying, ...... Or Else.
Anyway, I received this thing on Social Security, and thought many would be interested since it timely and important to everybody, young and old alike. See y'all again real soon. Lots of cheer. CJ

Your Social Security: Just in case some of you didn't know this. It's easy
to check out, if you don't believe it. Be sure and show it to your kids.
They need a little history lesson on what's what and it doesn't matter
whether you are Democrat or Republican. Facts are Facts!!!
Social Security Cards up until the 1980s expressly stated the number and
card were not to be used for identification purposes. Since nearly everyone
in the United States now has a number, it became convenient to use it anyway
and the message was removed.
Franklin Roosevelt, a Democrat, introduced the Social
Security (FICA) Program. He promised:
1.) That participation in the Program would be completely voluntary,
No longer Voluntary
2.) That the participants would only have to pay 1% of the first $1,400 of
their annual income into the Program,
Now 7.65% on the first $90,000
3.) That the money the participants elected to put into the Program would be
deductible from their income for tax purposes each year,
No longer tax deductible
4.) That the money the participants put into the independent 'Trust Fund'
rather than into the general operating fund, and therefore, would only be
used to fund the Social Security Retirement Program, and no other Government
program.
Under Johnson the money was moved to The General Fund and Spent
5.) That the annuity payments to the retirees would never be taxed as
income.
Under Clinton & Gore up to 85% of your Social Security can be Taxed
*****
Since many of us have paid into FICA for years and are now receiving a
Social Security check every month -
and then finding that we are getting taxed on 85% of the money we paid to
the Federal government to 'put
away' -- you may be interested in the following:
Q: Which Political Party took Social Security from the independent 'Trust
Fund' and put it into the general fund so that Congress could spend it?
A: It was Lyndon Johnson and the democratically controlled House and Senate.
Q: Which Political Party eliminated the income tax deduction for Social
Security (FICA) withholding?
A: The Democratic Party.
Q: Which Political Party started taxing Social Security annuities?
A: The Democratic Party, with Al Gore casting the 'tie-breaking' deciding
vote as President of the Senate, while he was Vice President of the USÄ€
Q: Which Political Party decided to start giving annuity payments to
immigrants?
A: That's right! Jimmy Carter and the Democratic Party. Immigrants moved
into this country, and at age 65,
began to receive Social Security payments! The Democratic Party gave these
payments to them, even though they never paid a dime into it!
Then, after violating the original contract (FICA), the Democrats turn
around and tell you that the Republicans want to take your Social Security
away!
And the worst part about it is uninformed citizens believe it! If enough
people receive this, maybe a seed of
awareness will be planted and maybe changes will evolve. Maybe not, some
Democrats are awfully sure of what isn't so.
Anyway, I received this thing on Social Security, and thought many would be interested since it timely and important to everybody, young and old alike. See y'all again real soon. Lots of cheer. CJ

RELIGION or POLITICS - Why Buddhism?? The incredible 9th consciousness
(Again much of the contents herein are taken from the book "Unlocking the Mysteries of Birth and Death, byDaisaku Ikeda, President of Soka Gakkai International.)
Everyone who is not wholly dedicated to a religion, or who is spiritual and open minded about religion,
should seriously consider .... "Nichiren Daishonin's Buddhism, the Buddhism of the SUN.".............
Buddhism of the SUN, is shedding it's light all around the world. We have arrived at a time in which our movement for peace, culture and education, grounded on Buddhist principles, must send it's light of hope throughout society.
Hi y'all, here we are back together and starting a whole new wonderful week. We pretty much completed the details on the Ninth Consciousness, and I hope you absorbed the wisdom involved in it and maybe given some thought as to how it would help you in YOUR life. Umm, it definitely will, you betcha!
And now: LOOKING AHEAD...
THE NINE CONSCIOUSNESSES PHILOSOPHY CLARIFIES THE DISTINCTION BETWEEN WISDOM AND DELUSION, WHICH ARE BOTH FUNCTIONS OF LIFE. THE FIRST EIGHT CONSCIOUSNESSES ARE LOOKED UPON AS DELUSION, WHILE THE NINTH CONSCIOUSNESS IS VIEWED AS THE DOMAIN OF WISDOM. THE NINE CONSCIOUSNESSES TEACHING OPENS AN AVENUE FOR CHANGING DELUSION (CONSCIOUSNESS) INTO WISDOM (THE NINTH CONSCIOUSNESS).
The nine consciousnesses concept illustrates the complexity of human consciousness as well as the necessity of opening the ninth consciousness, or Buddhahood -- the pure life force that cleanses all consciousness of delusion, enabling us to become absolutely happy.
If our life force is weak and frail, even minor problems can overwhelm us, making us miserable. By enhancing our life force even a bit, we gain the vitality to resolve problems --- within the home, for example. Stepping out into the community, however, we may find ourselves stymied by problems there. Or say we develop sufficient life force to address issues involving the peace and prosperity of the nation; we still have to face the frequent bewilderments and sufferings of birth, aging, sickness, and death.
The Lotus Sutra, the essenc of which is crystalized in the phrase Nam Myoho Renge Kyo, enables us to tap the life force of the universe so that, no matter what happens, we are never bound by our difficulties.
ENHANCING OUR LIFE FORCE AND REVEALING OUR BUDDHA NATURE ARE
THE NATURAL AND ABSOLUTE RESULTS OF PRACTICING THE TEACHINGS OF NICHIREN BUDDHISM.
Now, I will suspend the continuation of presenting the stunning wisdom of Nichiren Buddhism for a few days, because of the election,. country wide, tomorrow. I can only hope that any who are smart enough to read my blog, will vote the right side of this election process, namely, the conservative side, and send a message to Washington to get this country back as it was designed to by by our founders and the Constitution. WE want all of our freedoms back, and no more of this leading the country into fascism.
NO and NO and for certain, NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
LOTS OF CHEERS GOOD PEOPLE. CJ

Hello on this TGIF day, and now you can look to another new and exciting weekend. My hope for all.
And now I bring us all back to Ninth Cosciousness, where life is really at for complete happiness.
TAPPING OUR INNER WISDOM, COMPASSION AND LIFE FORCE IS CRUCIAL. THE FULL VALUE OF THE NINE CONSCIOUSNESSES CONCEPT IS DEMONSTRATED ONLY WHEN ON PRACTICALLY BRINGS FORTH THE NINTH CONSCIOUSNESS, OR BUDDHAHOOD.
Nichiren gave concrete expression to the amala-consciousnes -- the fundamental reality of life -- in Nam-myoho-renge-kyo. He thereby opened a path through which all people can reveal Buddhahood, drawing forth their latent greater self. "The body is the palace of the ninth consciousness, the unchanging reality," he wrote, and concluded that chanting Nam-myoho-renge-kyo is the way to open the Buddhahood inherent in our lives, allowing it to gush forth and purify our lives from the inside out.
Nidhiren also wrote: "You should base your mind on the ninth consciousness, and carry out your practice in the six consciousnesses"." By establishing faith in the ultimate reality and incorporating Buddhist practice into our daily lives, we can access infinite wisdom, power and compassion; we can achieve a fundamental inner reformation and establish an unshakable foundation for true happiness. By analogy, while a piece of wood floating in a stream will be swept away at the whim of the curent, even the most powerful of currents cannot shift an island of rock.
Josei Toda used to emphasize that having a life-state of Buddhahood, or absolute happiness, means having the capacity to experience joy under any circumstances. He would say: "When you achieve absolute happiness, you have no money troubles, and you enjoy good health. Your home is peaceful, your business goes well, your heart is filled with a sense of abundance, and everything you see or hear makes you think, 'how delightful!' When the world appears to you in this way, then this world...becomes Buddha land. That is attaining Buddhahood." He would say that even a quarrel with your spouse, for example, can be joyful. And that when you get angry, you do so with contentment.
HAPPINESS IS NOT RELIANT SOLELY ON THE ENVIRONMENT. THERE ARE PEOPLE IN MANSIONS WHO SPEND THEIR DAYS IN TEARS. NEITHER, HOWEVER, IS OUR HAPPINESS ENTIRELY INDEPENDENT OF OUR ENVIRONMNET. WHO, FOR EXAMPLE, COULD HONESTLY CLAIM TO BE HAPPY IF THEY COULD NOT FEED THEIR CHILDREN.? A PERSON CONTROLLED BY A NEGATIVE ENVIRONMENT IS SUFFERING, WHEREAS ONE WHO CAN CONTROL AND INFLUENCE A DIFFICULT SITUATION IS QUITE THE OPPOSITE. WE CAN SAY THEN, THAT A PERSON WITH STRONG LIFE PURPOSE IS HAPPY.
And so good people, we close for this day and still looking forward to give out more enlightenment and food for serious thought for those who at not happy, and for those who may not have a great spiritual platform for daily life. Believe me folks, Nichiren Buddhism is where it's at. Cheers. CJ
