Anyway, based upon a statement by OUR (?) President like: "America is not a Christian country", this, when he was giving a speech overseas. What do you think about that, reader???
What motivated this blog, was a Letter to the Editor in a local newspaper, which was in response to a critisizer to a former contribution she had made, holding the view upholding a woman's right to choose, stating our country was found as a secular, not Christian, government. This letter is for standing up for her opinion,
The writer was accused of misinterpreting the principle of Separation of Church and State and that none of our Founding Fathers were Christians, which of course, she denied.
Then she repeats that, WE are not a Christian country, saying, just ask the Jews, Muslims, Hindus, atheists and others who are citizens. Many religionists equate their religion with morality, but the writer points out rightly that atheists are as ethical and moral as religious people..... I personally, am also, even though I do not believe in a Supreme Deity. I do believe in a great spiritual power, emphasis on "spiritual".
The Critisizer observed that Progressives want to convert the U.S. into a "godless country" so that government would be our "moral compass"........... So, in my opinion now, if we are already godless then what is happening that few citizens are actually aware of??? Sure, we all have a freedom to choose and to have our own opinions, at least until now and losing ground fast.

Well, yesterday on Glenn Becks show, he discussed the similar topic, his being titled " God or Government". Also, the present usage of Social Justice or Economic Justice which Becks claims is merely code words for replacing replacing God with Government, which you should recognize as Marxism, plain and simple. So really the lady who said Progressives want to convert the U.S. into a "godless country" was, right on. Then Beck went on to prove his contentions, as he does in backing up all of his predictions and claims. WOW, what a guy. Hey, wise up and listen to him, Yes, he could be wrong, BUT, suppose he's NOT??
Which leads me to say all sound and honest religions should also WAKE UP to the disease which is sneakingly spreading hate and separation to this nation, and the nation just has not realized it yet. So again, WAKE UP, SPEAK UP, BEFORE IT IS TOO LATE.
